Water coming through a ceiling
Most often a slipped or broken tile, failed felt at the eaves, or lead lifted at the chimney. Water runs along rafters before it shows, so we trace it from the loft and the roof before we price anything.
Tiles or slates on the ground
Rusted nails or perished fixings let tiles and slates slide. A few can be refixed; slipping across the whole roof means the fixings have failed everywhere.
Storm damage
Lifted tiles, a ridge off or lead torn away. We make the roof watertight first, then give you a written price for the permanent repair.
Water sitting on a flat roof
Ponding means the fall is wrong or the outlet is blocked. Standing water finds every weak lap, so it is worth fixing before it leaks.
Gutters overflowing or dripping
