Tell us what the roof is doing. We look at it and put the price in writing, free.
Many roofs in Woosehill, Emmbrook and Winnersh are on their original felt and battens from the 1970s and 80s. Where the tiles are still sound, re-felting and re-battening and refitting them is the cheaper route. Where the tiles are worn and porous, a full new roof is the better buy.
Either way, the scaffold goes up, the old covering comes off and we check every rafter before anything new goes on.

Questions
Can I keep my tiles and just replace the felt?
Often, yes. On sound concrete tiles a strip, re-felt and re-batten costs less than new tiles. We price both.
Tiles or slate?
Both. Concrete interlocking tiles, plain clay tiles and natural slate. We price the covering that suits your house, and the alternatives if you want to compare.
Do I need planning permission for a new roof?
Not for a like-for-like re-roof on most houses. Listed buildings and conservation areas have their own rules, and we flag that at the survey.
